"The Voice" Season 7 - Final 4 Predictions
Most of my predictions for the 12 playoff contestants are spot on. I'm happy that most agree with these are the best right now. See my previous post "The Voice Winner Predictions before live playoffs"
OK. Here's my predictions for the final 4 from each team and "The Voice" 2014 Season 7 ultimate winner. This may be too early for the ultimate winner prediction, but here goes,
Team Blake: Craig Wayne Boyd
Team Adam: Damien
Team Gwen: Taylor John Williams
Team Pharrell : Luke Wade
I really like Luke and Craig they both have a very commanding stage presence. But whether they win or not depends on the song selection. But my bets are on the young "Taylor John" he seems very poise, talented and surprisingly haunting. So I think depends on how well Taylor handles his stage presence and song choice, he seems to win this season.
So my prediction: Team Gwen : Taylor John Williams to win the ultimate "The Voice" Season 7

"The Voice - Season 5 " - My final 3 predictions
This is just based on the semi-final performances. My final three contenders are.....drum roll please........
Will Champlin (Fun "Carry On" - good song choice by the way!)
Cole Vosbury
Tessanne Chin
I'm going back and forth with Tessanne and Will for the sole winner. I'm pretty much biased towards Will. That dude is awesome day by day!
Please see my previous predictions here.

The Voice - Season 5 - Winner
The Voice is getting boring day by day. I don't see any real talent or top quality voices so far other than Tessanne Chin. Even her voice is pretty similar to Judith Hill's. So, there's no clear cut front runner right now. Seems like last year, there will be a surprised winner this time too.
Right now we have,
Team Adam: Will Champlin, James Wolpert, Tessanne Chin
Team Blake : Cole Vosbury
Team Christina: Matthew Schuler, Jacquie Lee
and Team Ceelo is long gone.
So, my final three right now? I"m not sure.
Thessane Chin, James Wolpert,Matthew Schuler ,
Winner: Tessane Chin
Please read my previous prediction for season 5. Seems like Adam fu** up again by eliminating Preston Pohl.

The Voice - Season 5 - Winner Predictions
My favorite music reality program is back for the 5th season. I see some really good vocals in this season. Here's some of my early predictions. I'll update the post with more contenders when the blind audition is over.
This year I'm rooting for Preston Phol. He got a cool raspy voice and his song choice for the blind audition "Electric Feel" is awesome. I hope Adam Levine (his coach) not gonna kill him later with some bad song choices.
Next for the runner up, I have several names.
James Wolpert killed the song "Love Interruption". Thats one of my all-time favorite blind audition song. I love the fact when contenders come up with songs which I never heard of and kill them and sing better than the original. Both "electric feel" and "Love Interruption" makes you say, holy crap, I wanna go and hear that song.....
Apart from these two, I like any of these contenders for final show down.
Matthew Schuler, Caroline Pennell, Barry Black, Tessanne Chin
It seems like Team Adam is in the position to win this season. I hope, and hope its not like the previous season where Judith Hill lost from votes and Sasha Allen dropped for Amber. It feels stupid if he cannot win this season......
Whats up with everybody going after Blake :) Its like everybody wanna beat him in this season or something. Also again, Christina with her some fake button clicks and gestures.......I loved Shakira, I guess its a mistake they bring Christina back....Shakira was so awesome and honest.....I guess Usher and Shakira gave some really good vibe....not like CeeLo with his ridiculously articulating speeches :)

The Voice : Season 4
Season three of The Voice just ended last night, but already time to focus on season four, which will have Usher and Shakira replacing Christina Aguilera and CeeLo Green at the giant red chairs.
In this first promo featuring Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and the two new judges, Shelton picks the newbies up in very countrified vehicle, with a red chair in the back of the pickup, natch. On the way to their destination, the four superstars get into a fight over the radio, until finally settling on a song that pretty much everyone can agree on. That's when things get awesome.
Check out the promo below, and let me know how you think Usher and Shakira will fare on the new season of The Voice, premiering March 25, 2013
Yay! Blind Audition begins!

"The Voice" Season 3 - Winner Predictions
Its just the first couple of weeks and the end of the blind audition of "The Voice" season 3. I'm already rooting for couple of contenders for winning "The Voice" and the wining team and coach.
Honestly I don't see a good set of contenders in this season. Only couple of singers with a limited vocal ability in my personal opinion. Some additions in this Season 3 are utterly ridicules, like "Daniel Rosa", come'on Voice, are you serious? And the husband and wife duo, Beat Frequency? Are you kidding me?
Maroon 5: Adam Levine and the Band (Google Affiliate Ad)
I'm so much disappointed in the way that the coach selection in this season. When Adam and Christina turned around, Black doesn't wanna turn? And does Cee lo is there just to cover the forth coach bench? It seems to me that Cee Lo is somewhere else.......just having fun with the opportunity and not wanting to win at least this season. And Christina mocking the contenders faking to click on the button? How ridicules is that?
And also, I dont know why they want to make it some emotional shit with brininging up some family health issues, or contenders health issues etc. Come on, we are here to listen to their voice, not their past history!
First Act Adam Levine Acoustic Guitar Pack (Google Affiliate Ad)
So, I'm rooting for Team Adam this time. I'm pretty sure one of contenders from Adam Levine's team is going to win the sole "The Voice" title of the Season 3 this time, unless some other coach snatches the contenders with the Season 3 twist.
My predictions for this Season 3 are,
STRIPPED BY AGUILERA,CHRISTINA (CD) (Google Affiliate Ad)
Avery Wilson, Melanie Martinez, and Benji. I like Bryan Keith too. But I dont hear the same gravel tone of his (Signature Voice as Christina Aguilera correctly said so) in the studio version.
This years list after blind audition is damn big, so I cannot exactly predict with a sure tone. May be I should come back and update while the voice progresses.
Here's some of the studio versions (complete songs) from the blind audition which I think the best of this Season so far.

Best of "The Voice" Season 2 - My Favorites
I don't normally follow most of these super star competitions, including most of the Sri Lankan copycat versions and UK, US talent shows. But "The Voice", I guess something pretty cool, apart from how it selects competitors just by the voice (which is called blind auditions), the season 2 just blew my mind by the shear talent of these guys. Specially Tony Lucca and Jamar Rogers, two of my favorites in the competition right now, and still I believe Jesse Campbell (after that epic battle with Anthony Evans) is going to get the title this time. Jesse's voice and performance is freakingly alien and flawless, I cannot imagine anybody else can beat him in final battle rounds, except may be Jamar or Jermaine Paul (Alicia Keys backup singer). Thats freaking awesome, Jesse, Jamar and Jermaine........3 J's.............
The series consists of three phases: a blind audition, a battle phase, and live performance shows. Four judges/coaches, all noteworthy recording artists, choose teams of contestants through a blind audition process. Each judge has the length of the auditioner's performance (about one minute) to decide if he or she wants that singer on his or her team; if two or more judges want the same singer (as happens frequently), the singer has the final choice of coach.
Each team of singers is mentored and developed by its respective coach. In the second stage, called the battle phase, coaches have two of their team members battle against each other directly by singing the same song together, with the coach choosing which team member to advance from each of individual "battles" into the first live round. Within that first live round, the surviving acts from each team again compete head-to-head, with public votes determining one of two acts from each team that will advance to the final eight, while the coach chooses which of the remaining three acts comprises the other performer remaining on the team.
In the final phase, the remaining contestants (Final 8) compete against each other in live broadcasts. The television audience and the coaches have equal say 50/50 in deciding who moves on to the final 4 phase. With one team member remaining for each coach, the (final 4) contestants compete against each other in the finale with the outcome decided solely by public vote.
Here's few of my favorites during the Blind Audition rounds, and its damn cool, some performances are better than the originals, specially Jamar's "Seven Nation Army".
Jamar Rogers - "Seven Nation Army" (The Voice Season 2 Blind Audition)
Tony Lucca - "Trouble "
(The Voice Season 2 Blind Audition)
Jesse Campbell - "A Song for You"
(The Voice Season 2 Blind Audition)
Erin Martin - "Hey There Delilah"
(The Voice Season 2 Blind Audition)
Charlotte Sometimes - "Apologize" (The Voice Season 2 Blind Audition)
Naia Kete - "The Lazy Song"(The Voice Season 2 Blind Audition)
RaeLynn - "Hell on Heels"
(The Voice Season 2 Blind Audition)
Jermaine Paul - "Complicated" (The Voice Season 2 Blind Audition)

Anthony Evans vs. Jesse Campbell: "If I Ain't Got You" Best Duet ever!!!!
I'm not sure why Christina Aguilera wanted to pair Anthony and Jesse? Yes, they are similar vocalists, but you cannot just compare the shear talent of them, they both simply the best in the competition "The Voice" right now. I'm so pissed, Christina want to sent Anthony home after that epic battle of royale. He deserved to be in the final showdown. There are more undeserving competitors in The Voice right now.......

Genius Beatboxers……..Nathen “Flutebox” Lee & Beardyman
OK…..here’s another genius musician….. When I heard this duo for the first time, I thought what??? Are they from another world???.............Yeah…..So awesome. Can’t believe how talented these fellows. Nathan “Flutebox” Lee, and Beardyman @ Google, London. These guys blow me away…….a blast………..yeah.
These particular types of musicians are called “Beatboxers”. Here’s what Wiki says about Beatboxing.
Beatboxing is a form of vocal percussion which primarily involves the art of producing drum beats, rhythm, and musical sounds using one's mouth, lips, tongue, voice, and more. It may also involve singing, vocal imitation of turntablism, the simulation of horns, strings, and other musical instruments. Beatboxing is connected with hip hop culture although it is not limited to hip hop music

What Hurts the Most - Boyce Avenue (another different view)
Another song from my wife’s favorite picks, end up in my most wanted list. “What hurts the most”, a country song, with that breathtaking violin part, I feel pretty much close with country songs now, I guess this is because of my bond with acoustics (just a wild guess). It was bit confusing because there are two official versions one from a band called Rascal Flatts, then Cascada. So, I tried the help of Wiki to see who’s original was this, But I wanted to share with you a different version of the song, with a different band someone not popular but extremely extremely fantastic how they are playing this specific song. The band called Boyce Avenue. I think my liking is different, same thing happened when I picked the Hallelujah song, it’s how you feel the song in yourself. I don’t care who played the song first, but I follow what I feel most. I guess my wife Nim too agreed with that……………………
Here are some quotes from Wikipedia.
"What Hurts the Most" is a country music song written by Jeffrey Steele and Steve Robson. It was originally recorded by American country music singer Mark Wills on his 2003 album And the Crowd Goes Wild. It was to be released as a single, but he was dropped from his label before the song could be released. In 2006, country music trio Rascal Flatts released the song as a single for their album Me and My Gang, and it became their fifth number-one single on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart. Andy McKee - Legendary acoustic guitarist
Oh my God. You guys wanna see this? I bet ya’ll thank later. Yep, for sure. I was just surfing around to see some videos especially acoustic guitar pieces. I brought a guitar almost 3-4 months ago (it’s a gift for my 28th birthday from Nim). I’m sick of playing same old major codes with some songs from Clarence wijewardana (no offense). I tried some Kasuns kalhara’s songs. Ha too immature to play those (not kasun, but me on acoustics). Need some practice and patient to play I guess (time, ha that’s what I don’t have). Acoustic fingering, that’s what we called plying ha? Yep, that’s for sure.I accidently found some video clips, a guy called Andy Mckee. Some acoustic pieces “Rylynn”, “Africa”, “Drifting”, What an amazing guitarist he is. Truly a master in his art. This is what wikipedia says about him,
Andy McKee (born April 4, 1979 in Topeka, Kansas) is an American finger style guitarist currently signed to the US-American record label Candyrat Records. His style of playing and his compositions have earned him a considerable fanbase; in late 2006, a live performance of his flagship song "Drifting" became a Featured Video on YouTube and MySpace, achieving over 14,000,000 views on the former to date and remaining one of its highest rated music clips. A handful of McKee's other songs have experienced lesser success on YouTube, such as "Rylynn" and "Africa" both eclipsing 6,000,000 views apiece.
